It's the beginning of the end, people, my last week in Pau. I've wanted to say a few things:
Saturday- we also went to a wildlife zoo and I saw a trained bear wave at me for an apple, I called him Jerry. there was a horned deer thing on the trail too and it almost horn-ed me and Laura and I saw a real sheep and it bahhed at me and i gobbled with and to a turkey and we had a nice conversation
Saturday night- i also went downtown and ate a brebis fromage/onion/ and ham pizza that was almost if not better than italian pizza...yum. and then it poured rain and i got super soaked even with an umbrella. oh well, an early night.
today was an early morning with some coffee and a smile on my face. read a book, ate some couscous, salad, CHEESE AND HAM CREPES and some brebis fromage called brick which is in the shape of a brick.
read up more about paris...i need to do EVERYTHING.
my host dad called me downstairs and then i helped him make some flan!!! learned the recipe a little..dunno if i can make it in the states cuz our ovens are different. anyways, took a nap then dinner was omelettes that had zucchini and onions and potatoes in them, had it before but it was just as amazing. also, i had more couscous.
skyped with my mom for a bit to catch up. bonne fete des peres by the way, happy father's day! maybe skyping my dad later :) my host dad didnt get any presents b/c he bought himself four antique bicycles for his collection haha.
