Dreams :)

yesterday...

Yesterday was a blur of class, everyone, including me, was feeling kind of sickish. after class, i had ham for lunch real bona fide ham, delicious. and an orangina and a rasberry yaourt.

we are working on phonetics in class in this weird lab...its hard for me to say prune and brune. u try it with the cheee in ur throat, its hard non? im working on it

went with laura downtown for a bit for my 2nd georgios, a mint/chocolate cone dear lord the man is genius and i think he remembered me from last week b/c he gave me a smile of friendliness, it's that or im gorgeous either one ;)

dinner was this sort of french bacon that is made the same but uses the belly i think of the pig? my host mom tried to explain. also over-easy eggs, yum! bread and leftover legumes from last night yum.

i had a dream last night that i was home in naperville with like...no souvenirs...none and i couldnt go back to france and the time like...sped up extraordinarily quick and i cried b/c i had nothing to remember it by...i dont think this will happen. ive already bought some souvenirs and am stocking up on postcards lol. odd dream tho...then we were all at a pool at girl scout camp and i didnt want to work at the pavilion and sort food. bah, hilarity. i miss my truddy <3

plans of traveling to florence are all set for this weekend, it will dent my bank account but be worth it. i told my host daughter this but i've always dreamed of going to france and i've always dreamed of going to italy...its weird to have dreams come true like this. you never could imagine how amazing it felt to wake up today from that dream and realize im still in pau, it hasnt even been five weeks. i was so happy. i do love it here, minus the sick-thing.
