SALSAAAAAAAA

What a fun day!! I don’t mean class or any regular stuff, but it had a fab ending.

Class blah learning French. Studying phonetics is interesting and all new so that is worth noting.

Lunch at the vague was delicious pork thing and coucous and brie cheese and some pudding then we all went to a French/English student mixer with all the chocolate of france!!! We tried every possible candy bar and boxed cookie that exists! But they all were amazing and we all left bloated and then some of us went downtown to shop. I bought 3 french cds for 6 euro, I just need more French music in my life! I want to blare it in my room all next year <3 charles trenet and georges bizet were two of them and then one of them has various artists on it.

After shopping, we waited 8 years for the bus and then I took another nap and we had leftover omelette, freshly made rice and onion/tomato thing, fresh strawberries and more wine for dinner.

After dinner, a couple of us went to a brasserie with a bar and had fun drinks with champagne in them :)

then, we went to hoegarden for salsa dancing!! SO FUN! We stayed there about 2 hours, we obviously were not as good as everyone else but I did dance with this one guy who literally threw me around the floor. SO much more spinning and fastness in salsa then I previously thought. Social dance class in high school didn’t prepare me enough. Strong mojitos helped though haha. But I adored salsa dancing and even though it was really hot, there were fans and even though I am not a pro, I did my best and had a blast!!

A good evening to an overall good day. And yeah, anyway, that was my day! Not too much to say, just happy to be here and exhausted!
